I am a young professional with experience in embedded systems, computer hardware, UX/UI design and front-end web development.

INDUSTRY

Internship With ACEnT Laboratories Dapartment of Defence Contractor
  • Designed/Created a housing for Scramjet fuel spray imaging and ran tests with water using Strobe-CMOS imaging and laser sheet imaging
  • Used Python to program a Raspberry Pi to communicate with a PLC and run real-time REFPROP calculations with the data given by the PLC
  • Created a data acquisition box that allow multiple sensors to be plugged in, and logs the data to an SD card (using an Arduino)
  • Other projects included: updating the company website, setting up a more secure LAN, researched ITAR compliant file sharing software, laid the groundwork for a MUSA system for computing sensitive data, and wrote the documents needed to bring the company to NIST standards

    Clarkson Smart Housing Project Research Assistant
  • User Experience / User Interface developer (Javascript / PHP / HTML)
  • Met weekly to discuss possible user experiences and interactions with proposed Data Display Tablet designs
  • Designed data visualizations with D3.js showing smart house energy/water consumption along with humidity and temperature
  • Wrote scripts to display certain conservational messages when energy and water consumption was higher than the community average

  • Planned and led lessons to teach students ages six and up in a classroom setting
  • Reinforced the skills taught in the classroom out on the water by coaching hands on drills and activities for the students
